Spices Board Trainee (Development) Vacancy Details

The Spices Board has announced 21 provisional vacancies for Trainee (Development) positions distributed across various regional and unit offices spanning four major regions. The allocation includes units in Gangtok, Sakleshpur, Guwahati, and Other Regions (such as Guntur, Nizamabad, Jagadalpur, Koraput, Mumbai, Paderu, and Patna).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidature: Selection is exclusively open to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Botany, Microbiology, or Biotechnology from a recognized University or Institute along with a working knowledge of computers.
  • Degree Status: Candidates who have not yet received their final degree certificate are not eligible to appear for the test. Original degree certificates must be obtained within two years from the provisional degree certificate’s issue date.
  • Prior Training: Candidates who have previously undergone training in any office of the Spices Board, regardless of whether they completed the tenure, are ineligible to apply again.
